Ross really was/is one in a million and it is a privilege to be part of his family. I remember when he first started his apprenticeship and arrived in his lounge wearing his hard hat and utility belt, a broad smile on his face, and what a handsome young man he was. Ross was inspirational during his battle with cancer and I never heard him complain once. He always seemed to be able to keep smiling and indeed when I last saw him when he was really poorly in bed only a day or so before he died he still had his cheeky grin and sense of humour. His thoughts were always for his mum, dad and sisters and he tried to make his passing as easy on them as he could, joking "I'd like to stay, but I have to go". He was so open about everything and if I could only have a little piece of the courage that Ross had I would be ten times stronger. How humble I feel moaning about my own pains, when I saw Ross face his battle head on. Thank you Ross for letting me share part of your life, although I know that you are still walking amongst us. Lots of love Auntie Sheila xx
